AI visibility for service providers
Services have no product photo and no data sheet. Selection runs on fit: "Who helps a mid-sized company introduce an ERP system?" The AI names a few – relying almost entirely on text.
Those named state clearly who they work for, how they work and what comes out at the end. Articles with a recognisable position carry weight: they are what a model can lean on.
The most common mistake is vagueness. "Individual solutions for your success" appears in some form on thousands of sites. It distinguishes nothing and is therefore never cited.
How customers actually ask
Question types from our own measurement series, reworded generically – company, place and product names removed.
- „Who supports mid-sized companies through digitalisation?"
- „Which provider knows the funding programmes?"
- „Who handles IT support for small companies?"
- „Which consultancy can start without a long lead time?"
- „Who trains staff on site?"
- „Which provider cleans office buildings?"
- „Who supports the introduction of a new system?"
- „Which provider works with fixed contacts?"
- „Who has experience in our sector?"
- „Which provider also takes smaller assignments?"
What is usually missing
- A service without an audience
"For companies of any size" tells a model: for no particular one. Stating who you work for gets you named in that audience’s questions.
- No described approach
How does the work run, how long does it take, what does the client need to provide? These questions decide – and are rarely answered.
- Projects without readable substance
Client logos are worthless to a model. Situation, approach and result in three sentences are citable – even without names.
- No professional position
If you never answer a question clearly, you are never used as a source. One article with a documented statement beats ten in an advisory tone.
How we work with you
- Where do you stand today?
We ask four AI systems about providers in your field – without naming you.
- Building blocks for your site
Structured data, llms.txt, citable content. The fastest route when the substance is there.
- Rework your existing site
We rebuild the site so AI systems can read and cite it.
- A new website
If the site no longer carries you, we rebuild it.
- Ongoing support
Weekly measurement and follow-up – without repetition any change is just a claim.
Questions
- We live on referrals. Why be visible?
- Because referrals get checked. Someone who types your name into an AI system and finds nothing solid hesitates. Visibility confirms the referral.
- We may not name our clients.
- That is normal and no obstacle. Describe the type of project, the sector and the scale without names – that is the citable part.
- Do we have to state prices?
- No. Fit, approach and experience count for much more in how a model selects.
- What does it cost?
- Scope and starting point differ a lot, so we discuss the price in a first call. The GEO check beforehand is free and shows within seconds whether AI systems may read your site at all.
